Count Crowley Volume 2 is in full swing!

I’m so happy to be working through the second installment of this series with writer David Dastmalchian, colors by Lauren Affe and letters by Frank Cvetkovic. Best editor ever Megan Walker brings it all together into something we’re very proud of. New issues will be releasing into the summer, followed by a very special crossover issue announcing soon!

The series follows disgraced big-city news anchor Jerri as she moves back to her hometown and takes the only job she can get — late-night horror hosting duties on the local access show Count Crowley. She soon learns that the job comes with secret strings attached. She’ll need to battle monsters inside and out to face an old monstrous threat reborn in the modern day 1980s.

Site renewed!

I didn’t realize the site was down for a few weeks, sorry for that. Had an ID theft happen this summer, and it’s been a pain to track down every subscription that needs to be updated :P

In any case, here’s some selections so far from this year’s INKTOBER! I went with a “demons” theme since that seemed an easy way to not stall out on ideas.

Ualac (from Hellboy) and Valac (from The Nun) are technically the same demon, so this seemed apt.

Announcing KILL THE MINOTAUR!

Skybound announced my newest title KILL THE MINOTAUR today! It's a new grindhouse-y take on the classic myth of Theseus and the Minotaur written by Christian Cantemessa and Chris Pasetto, and colored by the unmatched Jean-Francoise Beaulieu. I'm really looking forward to the release of this one. It's a unique cross-genre retelling, and was an absolute blast to draw.

I'll be posting more about this soon, but if you want updates in real time, follow me on twitter to see pics of original artwork and links to other Skybound updates about KTM in real time between now and the June 14th release!
